I’ve long been a fan of C4 Equestrian belts. Enter C4 Equestrian socks! I learned of their existence when the company reached out to me for a collaboration. I’ve worn the socks over the course of months and most recently in crazy hot temperatures. I will now share my honest opinion.

Feeling soxy with C4 Equestrian! (Photo by Lady Photographic)

First, I like that the C4 Equestrian socks have the feel of a more traditional sock as opposed to the super thin, almost pantyhose-like boot sock that are a popular choice among equestrians. The C4 Equestrian socks have a thicker foot bed so your toes and heels get a little extra cushion. Speaking of heels, on the heel there is the motivational reminder, “Heels Down,” which is a cute touch.

While we’re talking about the “construction” of the socks, they have arch support in the form of a different diamond-shaped stitch that conforms closely to your arch. They’re designed with “stay up” technology–not sure what that is, but they do stay up–no sagging. The socks are made of a cotton blend and are manufactured in the United States.

Color-wise I have a pair of gray and blue. They are two-toned. For example, my gray ones are light gray and a dove gray with a fun, more simplified version of a fleur-de-lis. They’re attractive socks.

So, how did the socks do in this record heat with an unusual dash of humidity? (It seems like the humidity levels here in SoCal are mimicking the summers of the Midwest.)

The Verdict on C4 Equestrian Socks

Despite the high temperatures, the C4 socks performed well. They were/are comfy, sturdy, non-sagging, and I didn’t even think about them during my latest two rides in extreme temperatures, which is exactly what a sock should do–perform without being noticed. In addition, they wash great. If you haven’t tried them yet, you definitely should. They have some other cute colors and can be ordered on Amazon Prime.
